Lower Cape May Regional School District Media Centers' Vision Statement:
It is the vision of the Lower Cape May Regional Media Centers to work collaboratively with students and faculty to empower students to be effective and responsible users of ideas and information. Students and faculty are invited to work in the media center to pursue personal interests and to work towards the rigorous content standards set by the state of New Jersey to prepare them for college and careers in the 21st Century.

The mission of the Lower Cape May Regional School District's Media Centers is to serve as the heart of exploration and inquiry for our school. We seek to foster a welcoming, resource-rich, and student-centered learning environment where children can nurture a love of reading, discover their interests, pursue their passions, and become lifelong learners. Through collaboration with teachers and students, and using principles of guided inquiry, we empower students to become critical thinkers and confident researchers, constructing their own knowledge as they learn to independently locate, explore, evaluate, and synthesize information in the 21st Century.
The media center references are carefully selected by the professional staff to enhance the curricula, to meet a wide variety of needs and interests, and to encourage recreational reading.
