NJDOE Staff visits the LCMR School District

Commissioner Laux, dignitaries, and NJDOE staff visited the LCMR School District to connect with students and see learning in action. The visit offered a valuable look at the district’s programs and the people who make its school community strong.

The visit underscored the district’s impressive achievements and continued growth. LCMR now offers 18 AP courses with participation and pass rates exceeding state averages, more than 46 dual credit courses with over 93% student participation, and seven high-performing CTE programs. Additional highlights included the expansion of the Early College program, the county’s first Aviation/Drones course, seven CTE pathways, and multiple state and national recognitions, including the RMT Schools to Watch designation, College Board AP recognition, and Project Lead The Way Distinguished High School status for excellence in STEM education.
