The LCMR Bees initiative brings hands-on environmental learning to our high school by introducing beekeeping into Environmental Science classes. Through caring for pollinators and maintaining hives, students gain a deeper understanding of ecosystems, biodiversity, climate resilience, and sustainable practices. The program encourages curiosity, responsibility, and earth stewardship while helping students build a meaningful connection with nature and the vital role bees play in our environment.
