Incredible news regarding our school’s FIRST Robotics team, 8704 Void Warranty. This past weekend, our students competed at the district level event held at Seneca High School, and I am proud to announce that we took home the blue banner as Event Winners!
This victory is the result of hundreds of hours of design, programming, and mechanical troubleshooting. To see our students' hard work translate into a championship win was inspiring.
Team Leader and RMT Teacher George Simmons would like to recognize the following high school students for their contribution to this success:
Jasper Barker, Reilly Fitzpatrick, Alex Valle-Laughlin, Bex Formento, Ceasar Carrnillo, and Nouran Moustafa. The following RMT students also made an important effort:Philip Kelly, Casey Fitzpatrick, Andrew Stevenson, and William Timmreck.
I would also like to extend a special thanks to Tim Fitzpatrick, a dedicated mentor and non-staff member whose expertise and support were instrumental in our success this weekend. We could not have accomplished this without his help and support!
Thank you for your continued support of our team. We are looking forward to carrying this momentum into our next competition!
