Students from RMT Middle School's Peer Leader Program collaborated with members of Cape Assist, as well as peers from various schools in Cape May County, to expand their abilities as community leaders. The day began with the keynote speaker, Josh Robinson, who showed that working together was not only easy to do, but fun for all with Drum Sticks and teamwork! Students were also challenged to create a poster for "Don't Puff our Planet Away", warning attendees of the dangers of vaping, not only for the individual who vapes, but for the planet as a whole, including issues such as battery disposal, plastic recycling, and chemical contamination. Peer Leaders from RMT's Peer Leader program also worked with LCMR High School students who were in attendance to foster their abilities to communicate effectively and positively within a peer group.
