What is FBLA?

Future Business Leaders of America is a nonprofit association, with a quarter million students, created to prepare students for a career in business. The activities of FBLA provide an opportunity for members to learn how to hold office and direct the affairs of a group, how to work with representatives of other organizations, and how to compete with colleagues on different levels. The association is divided into four levels...

FBLA Middle School (Grades 5 through 8)
FBLA High School (Grades 9 through 12)
PBL (College Level) Professional Division

FBLA strives to teach students leadership skills, how to understand the free enterprise system and how to establish career goals by encouraging loyalty, confidence and self-interest.

LCMR FBLA

The Lower Cape May Regional chapter of Future Business Leaders of America was started in 2009 by Mrs. Mary Rose Bispels and Mrs. Kathy Parker. Originally the club was small, but in the past years our organization has reached over forty members.

Each year our officers and advisors work to find new and exciting businesses in Cape May County for us to learn from. Our monthly meetings are typically held at a local business, or a local business owner comes to speak about owning a business.

At the 2011 State Leadership Conference a member was awarded the 5th place award for the Digital Design and Promotion test.

At the 2012 State Leadership Conference one of our teams was awarded the 3rd place award for the Desktop Publishing test.
