McKenna’s Homepage.
I invite all students and parents to take advantage of this website to access lesson plans, homework and other assignments, as well as other information that I will make available over the coming school year. I look forward to teaching my students the French language, and guiding my students and their families in explorations of the varied cultures of the French-speaking world. And in doing so, I hope that my students will achieve a better understanding of their own language and culture, as well as a broader perspective of the myriad of people and cultures that share our planet.
Biography
I am a life-long resident from City of Cape May who has also spent much time traveling to places both near and abroad. I am also a proud alumnus of LCMR (Class of 1975) and I have a degree in French from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Over the years I have spent much time in France and Europe. My wife is from France and we have always spoken French at home along with our children, as well as with relatives who live in France. The French language and French culture have been a big part of my life and I have a strong passion for both. The ability to share this passion with my students is a major reason why I love teaching at LCMR.
